This extension allows Sugar users to create and archive personalized business letters in the ODT-format.

Situation: To create and archive a simple letter to a business contact can be a challenging process with Sugar. You need to be in front of a computer with the right plugins installed and configured, and you need to archive the document back to Sugar manually. Also the Sugar plugins support only Microsoft Word 2003 and 2007; Open Office users are left out.

This tool allows Sugar users to personalize and archive letter to a Sugar contact (or lead) in one step saving time and streamlining the process. The tool is designed to be easily installed, configured and used. The tool creates documents in the ODT (OpenDocument-Text) format which is an open text format and interoperates perfectly with Open Office.
